Graduating form the University of Toronto in 2018 with a PharmD, Taranom went ahead to devote her time to gaining experience in the fields of specialty pharmacy, mental health, addiction and diabetes management. While acquiring such skills in these realms of care, an interest sparked for compounding pharmacy as certain situations uncovered the need for tailored therapy which weren’t commercially available. Observing these pitfalls, she developed a view on compounding pharmacy as a compelling solution to circumvent patient allergies & intolerances, drug shortages, along with providing preferred methods of therapy from a patient and physicians perspective. The goals Taranom would like to achieve in this position is to boost her knowledge in veterinary compounding and collectively innovate customizable products to help with patient outcomes.
